The whole Downtown was blocked off and turned into a a craft fair down the middle of the streets. The Festival was held on the Beautiful Waterfront Park. Entertainment was at both ends of the park, along with local acts like dancing, karate, singing. the Kiwanis put on the Festival Dinner, you got two pieces of fried fish, a handful of coconut (rock) shrimp, 6 large boiled shrimp, 2 hushpuppies and cold slaw. Manuel and I split one meal and brought the other one home for dinner....... lots of food.
